Earning Credit for Internships

You may pursue these internships on your own, or you may opt to receive academic credit at TCU through HIST 30073—Public Internship in History. To qualify for academic credit for an internship, you must have completed nine hours in history by the beginning of the internship and have a GPA of at least 3.0 overall and in history courses. You must complete 120 hours of work over the course of a semester (approximately eight hours per week) and submit regular reports to your adviser.
