Majoring in history allows you to explore your passions while gaining a better understanding of how the world around you came to be.  History fosters an understanding of the past, promotes critical inquiry, improves communication skills and develops an appreciation for cultural diversity in the global community.

What Can I Do With This Degree?

Most of our History majors pursue careers outside of History. Our courses will prepare you for a variety of career paths by developing your skills in research, synthesizing large amounts of information, constructing arguments, and communicating your ideas effectively.
