Anthropology is the holistic analysis of humanity in all its diversity. Anthropology emphasizes a cross-cultural and global perspective and seeks to understand our species – Homo Sapiens – both throughout time and in all geographical regions.

Anthropology is divided into four subfields:

  • Sociocultural Anthropology
  • Archaeology
  • Physical (biological) Anthropology
  • Linguistic Anthropology
