ADDRAN DEVELOPMENT
AddRan College of Liberal Arts supports many initiatives to enhance the learning experience of our students.
To learn more, please contact Director of Development: Ann McDonald at ann.mcdonald@tcu.edu or 817-257-6187. Institute for Urban Living and Innovation The Institute for Urban Living and Innovation explores the multifaceted human experience of living in urban environments using Fort Worth, Tarrant County, and the North Texas region as an active learning laboratory. The Institute supports instructional, research, and service activities focused on topics such as smart growth, new urbanism, environmental and social sustainability, and quality of life issues in American cities. Institute for Critical and Creative Expression (ICCE) The Institute for Critical and Creative Expression (ICCE) recognizes that effective expression, in a wide variety of forms, is key to achieving success in school, at work, and in the public sphere. The capacity to express one’s ideas effectively is especially important in the digital age when the means of communication change rapidly. To address the changing nature of expression, ICCE supports TCU students, faculty, and the community in the effective use of multiple modes of communication: words, images, sound, and movement. ICCE also supports innovation in critical and creative expression. Center for Texas Studies The Center for Texas Studies at TCU is designed to celebrate all that makes Texas distinctive. It is housed in AddRan College of Liberal Arts, where various disciplines and programs can act in concert to foster and nurture the essence of Texas. History is, of course, central, but Texas literature, anthropology, ethnography, politics, religions, philosophy and design and textiles all represent elements that are a part of the incredible mosaic of Texas. For more information on these initiatives, visit Institute & Centers or contact Ann McDonald ann.mcdonald@tcu.edu or 817-257-6187. Please visit the campaign Web site to learn more about our other campaign priorities. |
